Photographer Gail Nogle's Work Makes International Appearance

Gail Nogle of Gail Nogle Photography, Dallas, Texas, has created three award-winning images that were displayed at the Imaging Asia 2005 Convention in Daegu, Korea, March 21- 27, 2005.

By special invitation of the South Korean government, Nogle's prints, The Capitol, Giselle Age 4, and A Mother's Love appeared at Asia's definitive showcase of imaging technology, services and products, hosted by Professional Photographers of Korea. Nogle's images already have received honors in Professional Photographers of America's International Print Competition and were invited to Imaging Asia as part of PPA's prestigious Loan Collection.

Imaging Asia also hosted the first regional photography competition of the Asian Pacific Rim, and Nogle's work was viewed and studied by thousands of Asia's best professional photographers.

Another Nogle image, Newborn Love, took top honors in January at ImagingUSA, a national convention sponsored by Kodak and the Professional Photographers of America, named first prize winner over 300 entries, from several thousand originally submitted. Nogle was also recognized with a Platinum Level Photographer of the Year award, with three of her prints entering PPA's Loan Collection. In 2005, she was one of only eleven Platinum Level Photographers of the Year.

About Imaging Asia 2005 Convention

Asian Pacific Print Competition

Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and Professional Photographers of Korea(PPK) co-host this event. PPA international judges will handle the judgment process in this competition and the winners will get the Merit for the PPA Master. PPA is the world? most prestigious professional photographers?organization with 14,000 members from 64 countries.

PPA Loan Collection display

500 photographs, winners of International Print Competition at Imaging U.S.A. 2004 at Las Vegas, will be showcased at EXCO. All of the winning works got Merit 2 and above at the competition, after being selected from the 10,000 works by professional photographers of the world. Asia-Pacific photographers?work will be included in the display.
